Do we need updated PFG files

This is just a question as I contemplate whether or not to begin work on a version E.6. I thought I'd poll the membership.

Now that TCFD 3 is out do we still need people like me, Darlok and satVia to keep improving the PFG releases, or just maintain what we have. I'm sure that all of us would could keep our current files up to date, but is there a need for improvement?

I'm truly curious what the membership thinks about this and I'd like to see you're comments in addittion to just voting.

If they can inprove the freezing and autoroll problem, then I still say we need them. Don't get me wrong, I'm greatful for everyone's hard work but I will not say it's perfect at this point. Anyways isn't that what testings all about.

Thanks again for everyone's hard work and keep it up!

lmao well if you get the autoroll working and the freezing daaaaa what else ... lol

I think people will have to learn how to figure out the keys cause otherwise what is the sence ? Everything is running good with MODDED and NON MODDED PFG so wait until Charlie does something before diving into a new PFG

Only joking there Big J

constant PFG developement means more variety and backup (in the event one fails or lacks). It also means cleaner code and perhaps the advent of Autoroll (When Charlie decides to roll keys). Please keep them coming.

Bah...don't take my fun away !!

I started with my first release to spur new ideas and to hopefully make more look into the inner-workings of the atmega. So far it seems it's worked.

While I agree that the only difference with current pfg's are just the bells and whistles, some neat things have come from this as of late: No RSA, Bev, greater amounts of tiers and a plethora of new options to choose from.

I suspect that we will soon have multiple PPV strings, autoroll and a host of other package options available for all if the pace keeps up.

Hell, I wish a few more would get involved and create these things....

I must say, the atmega is a great little item, why who would of imagined this little smart card substitute would be running wide open with a few little glitches in this new era of testing, while the (ahem) hu, and dtv stuff is not and well, of course the rom 2, 3, is not, IMAGINE THAT!!!

I say, the fun is in the testing, if anyone who tests stops now, well, then no one be testingand the fun be gone.

I say thanks to those who release their pfg's as I am a user of most of them and they are greatly appreaciated, them little atmegas are quite the cards!!!

AMEN

HAPPY TESTING ..... HAMMER

Ahh, the testing world will always need PFG'ers. The way I see it if a person thinks of someway of improveing the pfg/code, or make it easier for the end user. Then why the heck not throw it into a PFG and share it with other testers. So Darlock/BusRC do me a favour and keep working on those pfg's. The tesing world appreciates it. But hey that's just my two cents.

I fully agree!! Besides, there will always be some who would just rather run their favorite .pfg instead of any other method. Thanks to you all.

PFG's are a great learning tool

Constant PFG developement helps a lot of us learn. We can analize improvements and see how they were done and this gives great insight
into how a PFG works. I learn form every new PFG that comes out.
Keep them coming guys! Your work is appreciated!

Well all, I appreciate your respones and I'm sure Darlok and satVia do as well.

It seems to be running about 5-1 right now that we shold keep our work going. Tells me how much the testers appreciate what we do, and my thanks go to all of you for that. It tells me our efforts aren't in vain.

For the one person who thinks it's a stupid question, I'd really like to read your thoughts on why it is. That option was put in as a joke, but apparently you felt a reason to vote this way. Could you tell us why?

I want to thank you all, busRc, Darlok, satVia, and everyone else involved in creating/improving PFG's. I've learned alot from everything you've done. I hope you continue to work on new files. If you are able to fix the freezing and autoroll that would be awesome!
Thanks again everyone.

I feel like there are alot of people that are running the atmegas that can't get the 101's or 102's to use so keep up the PFG development.

I love all your PFG's that you guys make. Keep on rocking!

More bells, more whistles, autorolling keys, less/no freezing - you have lots of work to do let's go!

Seriously though, thanks a lot for all your hard work. It is well appreciated by a lot of people!

Looks like the same person that was here before and if so he will just come back with another name. Perhaps his IP address should be banned if that is possible.
